  Bring a quarter. This is a great place to shop for quick essential groceries, snack and household items. There are things that are different than a typical grocery store to be sure. About that quarter I mentioned at the beginning. You are gonna need that to unlock a shopping cart. "WHAT!?" you say. That's annoying, you know what's not annoying? You will never have to fight a shopping cart for a parking spot here, it's brilliant, carts are always available and right where they belong. Next once you are done shopping and you are checking out you are going to have to pay for bags, and you are going to have to bag them yourself, but have no fear, you can always bring your own bags. "Man that's annoying" you say. Sure maybe, but all the costs Aldi saves go right back to you, you will pay over 50% less here than you will at farm fresh or Harris teeter. It's quick, it's fast, it's convenient and I love it.

  I've shopped at 3 of these stores...2 in VA and one in Florida. once you get over the initial shock of needing to use a quarter (which you get back) to unlock the shopping carts and bagging your own groceries (we're spoiled here in The States) it's a pleasant experience. Produce is great, prices are very wallet - friendly. most items here aren't big-name items, but they're high quality. that's a win in my book.
