  So let me start by saying my wife has bought a LOT of stuff from Pier 1. She recently bought some curtains from there with a lot of other items. After a week, I finally hung the curtains and she didn't like them...so I tried to return them. I didn't have to receipt because I probably threw it out with the bag. The manager told me that I couldn't return them without a receipt and that it stated such on the bag. I asked if there was any way they could look up the receipt and told her I had the credit card it was purchased with. She bluntly and rudely said there was nothing she could do and then walked away. I then tried to return them to the Hampton Store and initially had the same result. Then a nice associate told us we could call customer service and they could pull up our receipt. I don't believe that the MANAGER at the Chesapeake store didn't know this. We will never spend money at this store again and advise you against spending yours.
